The biggest mistake that many new internet marketers make is investing everything in one method of traffic generation. The old saying “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” doesn’t just apply to the stock market. When you’re trying to build an online business, you need to employ several different methods to bring visitors to your site. When you only use one method, your success depends on the success of a particular item. This means that you don’t really have guaranteed web site traffic. For example, if you only use pay-per-click advertising, what happens when you reach your daily budget? If you’ve maxed out your marketing budget for the day, you can’t make any more sales. 3 Ways to Gain and KEEP Customers Using Postcards

In today’s competitive (sometimes cutthroat) marketplace, savvy business owners need to constantly look for ways to get and, more importantly, keep their customers. When used properly postcards offer a great opportunity to do both.

1. Mail systematically to a targeted database of prospects. Most people who use postcard mailings as a way to acquire new customers mail to a list once and then stop. It’s far more effective (provided that your postcards have an enticing offer, and provided that you are mailing to a group of “ripe” prospects) to mail regularly to the same group of potential customers.

Think about it this way. How many times have you received something in the mail or seen an ad on TV and thought, “that’s a good idea, I need to look into that.” Only to forget about it the next day and never take action. That’s just human nature. And that’s why it’s better to mail systematically and regularly to a group of prospects than it is to just mail once or twice. It may take 3 or 4 contacts with a customer before they are willing to do business with you.

2. Systematically contact your customers. Once a business gains a new customer the tendency is to do nothing but hope that the customer will come back. Bad idea. It’s far better to be proactive and mail monthly, weekly, quarterly, etc. to your current customers offering them special incentives, additional products, or just to simply thank them for their business. It’s amazing what kind of growth you can achieve if you get even a small percentage of your customers to make an additional purchase or two throughout the year.

3. Allow your customer to be a hero. One great way to build a relationship with your current customers and potentially gain new customers is to send them a postcard with a special offer that is only good for previous customers or friends and family of previous customers. When you send a postcard with a coupon or special offer on it, state very clearly that your valued customer is free to use the coupon for themselves or they can pass it on to someone else. This will make them feel good, and will potentially build a repeat purchase, or develop a new client. It’s like killing two birds with one stone.

Postcards can quickly and inexpensively communicate your message to prospects and consumers. When used as part of an integrated system, post cards can be a very powerful tool to generate new customers and then ensure that those customers keep coming back to you over and over again. Can u get free traffic from your Start-page on your browser 365 days a year?

The answer is of course, Yes.

How many times a day do you start your Internet webbrowser?

I know when I’m out surfing the net and when I stopped by at an interesting website which makes me think of another thing that I’ll have to check that aswell. It could be a message I placed at one of my autoresponders, a similar offer I read in a forum or on a website. So I simply open another webbrowser window.

Ok I agree that I could use a program that can control of several opened webbrowsers simultaneously, but you still need to open the new browsers. The big difference with a multitask program is that you’ll not have all the hassle with ten to twenty opened windows down in your program bar on your screen. I’ll get back to that later in this article.

So we can agree on that we all opens our webbrowser a couple of times every?

This is just one of our daily routines and nobody else is going to do it for us (thank god for that). Daily routines are good, it gets even better when you can receive free traffic from it.

Some people call the thing I’m about to explain to you ‘Startpage Marketing’. That’s all right with me. I just don’t think that you can build your online success only using this method, but it does work and it’s free so why not?

And almost in every case something is free you’ll then have to invest in your time instead. So the conclusion is that you now can generate free traffic while you doing the things you should be doing anyway. It’s so simple.

Instead of using your regular startpage you’ll now easily enter a special URL that you receive when you register to a Startpage program or Click Exchange program. Even if you had heard of these before, with my simple instructions and tips you will be guaranteed more traffic to your site.

The concept is like I said quite easy, when you start up your browser and your startpage is set up you will earn a credits. In exchange of credits other people will be directed to your website.

That’s a no-brainer.

But a few credits a day won’t get us that far will it? Hold on. Once your system is set up and in place, very fast it will be self perpetuating, creating an endless chain reaction of traffic to your site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - Absolutely free.

Today I’m using 8 different Click Exchange programs (if you want to know which one I use, see the complete article with all the resources at my website).

-”But how can you do that, Jonas” ? -”I can only place one startpage address in my Internet Explorer browser”, I hear many people say.

I’ll give you the answer in a minute. All of these programs will ask you designate your target URL (the site you want to promote). But what if you have more than one page to promote?

Then my advice is to use a ‘Rotator’ where you can advertise 5 different URLs with just ONE! Smart isn’t it ?

That means that when every time you’ll earn a credit/vistor the rotator will direct them to one of your 5 webpages and the Rotator performs the distribution equally.

So back to the Click Exchange programs. When you register for the free Click Exchange programs you don’t have to use different URLs, just enter your new Rotator URL to every one of them.

Let’s sum up.

First you should get a free Rotator (especially if you’re promoting more than one webpage) and receive your new Rotator URL.
Then sign up for at least 8 Click Exchange programs where you place your Rotator URL.

Almost done.

After you have finished signing up to each of the programs, sitting for hours after hours clicking from site to site which probably can cause muscle stress and more serious physical challenges. I’ve solved that problem with an Ace down my sleeve.

That’s right there was a thing I said I was getting back to..remember.

A webbrowser that can control all my opened pages. I’m using a program called Crazy Browser which is free, there probably some similar programs that can do the same. Using this tool you can open ALL of the Click Exchange Programs in your taskbar and it still enables you to generate traffic and credits from ALL Click Exchange Programs at the same time!

Now you know why I use 8 programs. This will actually keep all of your traffic generator programs open at the same time and earn visitors for your website - over and over again 365 days a year.

The normal reaction from you would probably be: -”Will anyone actually see my site if we all run on autopilot?”

One of the major keys to Internet Marketing is always CONSISTENCY it’s all about getting recognised and get the visitor familiar with your website or service.

You’ll have to start your Crazy browser everyday and be consistent. The same goes with placing articles or ads, if you just place one ad here and an article there you won’t se the results you want.
The customer will not buy from you before the feel comfortable with you.

I recently ran a survey to a handful of my best customers, asking them how much money they’d have to make to call themselves successful in their online business…

Out of 113 surveyed, 42 responded with at or around $5,000 a month. 18 of the 42 specifically mentioned passive, or residual income in the amount of $5,000 per month.

Thirty-seven percent of those surveyed wanted $5,000 per month, while fifteen percent wanted it in residual income.

As you continue to read this article, you will learn about a rock solid, tried, tested and approved nine-step strategy for easily acquiring $5,000 per month online using only email…

1. Find an affiliate program that pays instantly, or at least twice a month.

2. Join the affiliate program and calculate your Dollar Value Commission divided by 5,000. This will give you the total number of sales you need to convert from your affiliate link each month. [Example: 5,000 / $33.50 = 150 sales per month]

3. Take your number of sales per month, and divide by four. This gives you the number of sales needed per week. [Example: 150 / 4 = 38 sales per week]

4. Take your sales per week and divide by seven. You now have the number of sales needed per day… [Example: 38 / 7 = 6 sales per day]

5. Now create your Simplified Target Statement:

Example:

7. Tape it to your computer desk, or keep it somewhere near you. Preferably, you want to see it during the morning, afternoon and night if possible.

8. Go to MBPAdvertising.com and run a solo ad inside a publication. Keep a record of what publications pull sales, and keep buying ads in those ezines until your campaign becomes unprofitable.

9. Buy more ads from different sources. MyWizardAds.com and DirectoryOfEzines.com can both provide excellent resources for advertising in online publications.

Within one week of each campaign, find out which publications to keep advertising in, and which ones to drop by calculating the revenue minus advertising cost of each referred sale. For example, if Ezine A ran my ad and it received 34 sales generating $1,139 in commissions, and I paid $149 to run the ad, I made $990.00 in pure profit.

Obviously, I made more than I spent to acquire those customers, so my campaign is considered profitable. This is ALL that matters. If you’re making more than you’re spending to get customers, you’re golden!

People often get caught up and frozen in details that really don’t matter anyway.

All that matters is that you make more than you spend to acquire new customers.

Granted, some can afford to lose money on acquiring new customers because they have a well thought out follow up strategy to pick up the profit on the back end.

This may seem basic… and it is. But if you can apply 100% of your focus to a Simplified Target Statement without worrying about the details… you will reach your target and acquire the exact amount of income you’re after.

Sure, there are many other things you could do to acquire just six new customers per day, with a commission of $33.50 per sale — but you don’t need it.

Stick to the basics. They’re basic, because they are fundamental principles that work.

I can’t tell you how long it’ll take you to reach your $5,000 per month reward.

But this simple method can make earning that lifestyle closer than ever before.

Targeted website traffic is the lifeblood of any website looking to generate revenue. While FREE traffic from the search engines seems the most logical way to go, actually staying ahead of the game can be tough. Here are my top 3 ways to send your traffic counter spinning without the headaches.

1. Trading Links With Other Webmasters:

By mutually agreeing with another webmaster to trade link exposure on each others site, you’re expanding your market reach significantly. Not only does this generate instant traffic from the link partner, but you’ll also BOOST your Google PR and link ranking with other search engines as a bonus.

This helps you rank better in the listings, generating even more FREE traffic, without doing any complicated SEO.

As an added bonus you start to gain more respect within your industry. Articles have this uncanny knack to create an aura of expertise around the writer.

You also benefit yet again with search engine ranking, as other webmasters with mailing lists publish your article on their site. Creating yet another link back to you.

Articles are a VERY effective pre-selling technique too.
