The Fall Season Is Time for a Detox
We’ll see our bodies now transiting into a period of stepped-up activity along with new food requirements to support the need for increased energy — now that fall has finally arrived. After a long winter, it’s not unusual for our bodies to be anything but energetic and light. If, upon reflection, you remember that your food intake was a too dense, don’t feel badly as the body requires denser food during the cold, Winter months. It’s possible that you have added weight. Indulging during the holidays might induce an overburden of toxins.
This is why I’m a proponent of a fall season body detox. Any detox cleans toxic build-up from your body’s blood, organs, and tissues. Please consider a detox diet using lemon or a juice fast for several days if you are prone to feeling heavy and listless. If you’re in really good shape, completing a few weekend detox diets of raw vegetables and fruit is all you’ll need.
The fall months is the best season to detox your diet and a healthy complement to a body detox. Detox Your Diet signifies the addition of foods that cleanse to your usual day-to-day food intake. The detox foods top for cleansing will be leafy green vegetables, daikon radishes, lemon juice, garlic, whole grains, broccoli sprouts, cabbage, fresh fruit, green tea and water.
Throughout fall seasons, be sure you eat raw fresh fruits and vegetables everyday, use lemon juice in your beverages or salad dressing, and sip more purified water than you even think you will need.
